DONATE $25. GET 5 Christmas Cards made by ethnic Turkish kids in Macedonia, and help them stay in school this year and in years to come.
We are looking to fund the Come to School, Children! project, operated by K.U.D. Kardeşlik, a Macedonian NGO, under the Direction of Emin Eminov. Materials to be purchased include:
- school books
- shoes (required for school)
- backpacks
- pencil case and supplies
- school lunches
Twenty (20) children participate in the program each year. These kids and their families want an education but, without a scholarship are too poor to go to school. In addition to the scholarship criteria, attendance and achievement standards are set for scholarship recipients.
